![]() So because we are a company that has to talk to its customers, and provide a support structure for them,we have to have a telephone system SFB (Skype for business) apparently is attempting to integrate some SIP PBX capabilities but only in select use cases They have no contact center structure/ ability ![]() MS LYNC and SKYPE for business are not PBXs They want to drop cisco telephony completely (let talk about why that wont happen) So the Cisco rollout is moving forward, but in the background there is this group of departments that are all " MS LYNC FOR EVERYTHING!" Now we have changed CIOs twice, department structures have changed multiple times, projects are all over the place etc. So of course the organization went with lync (good choice at the time) ![]() We are currently in the middle of our Cisco UC roll out (placing phones on the desk) back in 2013 when the cisco rollout was being planned they talked about jabber but cisco hand'nt really invested in the product that much yet. I currently am working for an organization that is pretty chaotic. ![]()
